Cross-Back Apron for Summer Season!

Thank you for visiting the website.
It has been more than a month since my last post, and the seasons have completely changed here in Japan.
We are now entering a time of year when heavy rain and typhoons become a concern, and we also need to take extra to avoid heatstroke during the intense summer heat.

Now, I’d like to introduce a cross-back apron that’s especially comfortable to wear during the summer.
Wearing an extra layer can feel uncomfortably hot in the warmer months, so after receiving requests from customers, I redesigned this apron to make it cooler and more comfortable. By reducing the overlap of the fabric at the back, I was able to improve airflow and create a lighter, more breathable fit.

The neck line has been changed to a square shape, with a cleaner design around the sides and the crossed back. As shown in the image, if you choose a bright, summery print, this apron will be perfect for the upcoming season!

I’ve also received a photo of the sunflower apron being worn from the back!
I believe the redesigned back style makes it noticeably cooler and more comfortable than the original version.
This customer had also been using the original cross-back apron, and told me that wearing an extra layer had started to feel too warm as the weather became hotter.
Thank you so much for sharing this lovely photo and for your continued support through your repeat purchase. It truly means a lot to me.

How about having one made in lightweight Indian cotton or airy “Banshu-ori” (a traditional Japanese woven textile from Japan) fabric with its beautifully breathable texture? I currently have several fabric in stock, so if you’re interested, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Although I don’t have any linen or cotton-linen blend fabrics in stock at the moment, they also make wonderful summer aprons. If you’re not in a hurry and have some flexibility with the production time, I’d be happy to help you choose the perfect fabric from the very beginning. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities.

As we move further into the season of intense heat and heavy rain, I hope you’ll all stay safe, take good care of yourselves, and enjoy the days ahead without pushing yourselves too hard.
