It’s already September, but the hot days are likely to continue here in Japan. The sun sets earlier now, yet the midday sunlight still feels strong.
This summer we received inquiries about face guards made with double gauze, and we decided to add them to our lineup. Many face guards on the market tend to be dark-cocloured, overly long, or slip off easily even when hooked around the ears…
Our customers were looking for something with softer touch and a little more charming– and they loved the feel of double gauze.
The face guard is worn by hooking the elastic over the ears, with the tag of “Sincero” positioned on the left side. We use soft elastic normally used for masks, so it’s gentle and less likely to hurt your ears. You can also adjust the length of the elastic to suit your preferences or how you use it.
Since each piece is made to order, you can choose your preferred colour or pattern of double gauze, and we can also adjust the length for you. These two, for example, differ slightly in length: the shorter one was made for golf, so it doesn’t get in the way of a collared shirt, while the longer one was designed for riding a bike, offering coverage down to the neck. when you don’t need to cover your face, it can also be worn like a snood.
Please note that double gauze fabric itself does not have UV protection, so we recommend using sunscreen if needed. As it is a lightweight fabric that allows air to pass through, we hope you’ll find it pleasantly comfortable to wear.
