The three-piece set of Dress, Bonnet hat, and Bib for baby

The client, who is expecting a baby with her son and his wife, ordered dress for the baby to wear when she leaves hospital after birth. After confirming the wishes of a new mum-to-be, she ordered a set of a dress, a bonnet hat and a baby bib. The new baby is expected to be a girl, so the new mum wanted clothes with organza ruffles and pretty fluttering lace for a new baby girl.

I chose matching gathered lace for both the collar of the dress and the baby bib, and organza lace for the bust of the dress and the bonnet hat. Of course, both lace and organza are 100% cotton.
This three-piece set is designed to be worn not only at the time of leaving hospital, but also on the “Omiyamairi” (a baby’s first shrine visit) or “Okuizome” (a traditional Japanese weaning ceremony).
“Omiyamairi” is a Japanese traditional ceremony where parents take their baby to a shrine to pray for their healthy growth and happiness.
“Okuizome” is a traditional Japanese ceremony held when a baby turns 100 days old. It symbolizes the wish for the baby to have plenty food during the lifetime and good health.

We received a happy message that the baby was safely delivered and both mother and baby were discharged from hospital in good health. We recieved a lovely photos of the baby wearing the dress as well. These are the photos full of happiness that makes us smile! Thank you so much!
This is the first time in the baby’s life that she is dressd up. Thank you for choosing our dress for such an important ceremony.
The days may still be cold, but the daytime are getting longer and we can gradually feel the arrival of spring. We can imagine that all the whole family is looking forward to “Omiyamairi” and “Okuizome”.
Thank you again to all the family members for your cooperation with the photos.
We know nighttime feeding during the cold season must be tough, but we hope the excitement of the happy moments ahead will help you through it.
We sincerely wish for your baby’s healthy growth and happiness. Wishing you all the best, and we look forward to staying in touch.
