Custom-made Plastic Bag-style Eco Bags
After seeing my post on Instagram, the customer contacted me and said,
“I’ve been looking for smaller eco bags.”
I asked the customer about her preferred image, and shared several fabric options. She liked two of them.
I’ll be making eco-bags in three different sizes using those fabrics.
The largest one is the normal size that we usually make, which is about 50cm high from bottom to the handle, 30cm wide and has a gusset of about 20cm. It holds more things than it looks. When rolled up, it is about 10cm long and 4cm in diameter. It is made of cotton fabric, so it is even thinner and fits into the crevices of your bag.
The middle one is the size which the customer initially requested. It is made to form a slight trapezoidal shape when spread flat and looks lovely. The size is slightly smaller than the larger one, with a about 10cm gusset.
The smallest one is about the size of a lunch box and has no gusset.
They are made using bias tape made from the same fabric, leaving very little fabric behind. In this respect, the eco-bags are also environmentally friendly.
