At first, Japanese summer clothes for babies called Jinbei-san (set of short jacket and bloomer) which is made of super soft knit fabric with hemp leaf pattern (scarlet colour)
The customer’s niece gave birth to a baby girl, so she ordered it.
The baby was born in spring, and the Jinbei-san is sized to be worn from early summer to autumn of that year.
The hemp leaf pattern is a typical Japanese traditional pattarn often used for baby clothes. It is an auspicious pattern to wish for the healthy growth of the child, like the hemp leaf which grows quickly.
We also received adorable photos of the outfits being worn. The fact that the Jinbei-san is still a bit big makes them even more charming.
